Casual Behaviour Therapist / Technician (ABA)
Geelong, Surf Coast, Bellarine, VIC
At Cheeky Raspberries, we are passionate advocates of empowerment, inclusivity, and respect. We work with young autistic children, and children with developmental delays, providing one-on-one applied behaviour analysis (ABA) therapy in our learner homes and education settings (daycares, kinders, and primary schools). We are deeply passionate about behavioural science and using the latest research and evidence to inform our practice.
Our therapists are passionate people who help make meaningful, positive, and lifelong changes in our learner’s lives. If you're enthusiastic about empowering young neurodiverse learners, we'd love to hear from you!
Prior experience working with neurodiverse people is not required.
As a staff member of Cheeky Raspberries, you'll receive:
- Personalised, ongoing in-house training, and ongoing tailored mentoring from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) qualified to supervise.
- Formal supervision toward a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) qualification if desired.
- Ongoing formal supervision for those looking to progress in the field and build their career in applied behaviour analysis (ABA) therapy.
- A competitive hourly rate, with junior casual roles starting at $34 per hour (superannuation additional).
- Pay increases in line with experience and qualifications attained.
Successful candidates will have:
- A fun personality and positive outlook!
- A desire to empower neurodiverse children.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Unrestricted access to a motor vehicle for travel to and between clients.
- Desire to work 15 hours per week or more.
- Availability to work on some Saturdays and until 6:30 pm on weekdays.
- (Highly preferred, but not required): Have completed, or are working towards, a degree in psychology, education, or health science at a tertiary level.

- Current Employee Working with Children Check (apply online here).
- Current approved Education and Care Setting First Aid qualification OR Provide First Aid + additional Anaphylaxis Management + Asthma training.
- NDIS safety screening check.
