Behaviour
Fundamentals

Over the course of 2.5 – 3 hours, our Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) Stephanie Berry teaches the theory behind behaviour. With ethical considerations at the forefront, our teaching is evidence based and backed by research. Educators learn to recognise when a behaviour is desirable or undesirable, when behaviour change needs to occur, and how to create positive and lasting behaviour change for all students!

We venture beyond the theory, giving educators practical strategies that can be implemented straight away!

Whilst there has been a shift in teaching educators to understand the principles of behaviour, this has only been introduced recently, and educators may not understand how to apply this knowledge to their work. This is where we can help. Our behaviour training for companies is personalised for your workplace and the children you teach, whether this be one-to-one or in groups. Learning effective behaviour management strategies isn’t just helpful for autistic kids or kids with developmental delays, all students benefit. Knowledge learned in our Professional Development provides educators with strategies and equips them with the skills to best encourage and engage their students, problem solve, and manage new behaviours on the go!

Our Professional Development is eligible for professional learning under the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) – a requirement for teachers who hold full registration. Following course completion, a personalised certificate will be provided for upload.
